Tuesday 4/4: Mandatory meeting for all Chapter Presidents and VPs! We will be discussing how to finish this year strong, Leadership Conference, and starting off the ‘23-’24 school year (or passing the tourch to next years leadership.)

Saturday 4/8: Our friends at Bright Minds Forward invited us to join them on UDs Campus to participate in a creative activity where we will do Madlibs together and then create our own Comic Strips!

Monday 4/10: Want to meet a Champion?! Our friend Josh “Swagman” Felder recently starred in the new film Champions alongside Woody Harrelson. Join us for a zoom call with Josh to hear his story!

Monday 4/17: Do you love video games?! Come prepared to talk about your favorite video games, characters, and maybe even play an online game together!

Friday 4/21: Buddy Ball!!! Its like a prom, but for ALL Best Buddies Delaware! Everyone is invited from our school programs to our adult programs, this is an all ages event where the only requirement is being part of Best Buddies Delaware! Join us to dance the night away!!

Thursday 4/27: Do you know your TV Show Theme Songs?! If so, this is the trivia night for you! Join us to play a virtual game of trivia and listen to our favorite TV Show Themes.

Best Buddies Leadership Conference (BBLC) unites Best Buddies leaders, volunteers, and community advocates from around the globe to imagine, create, lead and empower the future of the disability rights and inclusion movement. Over the past 30 years, BBLC has inspired thousands of leaders to be Best Buddies advocates and to bring about social change in their communities.

In 2023, BBLC will once again be held as an in-person experience at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and will bring together leaders in from all over the world to learn about the Best Buddies movement. We encourage all Best Buddies leaders in our schools and communities to join us in July!

This conference experience will offer opportunities to learn from professional presenters, participate in small group discussions, engage with experts, and choose from a diverse variety of education sessions that will inform, inspire, and advance your role in the disability rights movement.

COSTS: $350 per person (This covers your stay at Indiana Universtity, food, experience) and cost of travel. You are encouraged to fundraise with your chapter to cover the costs of BBLC, however if you need financial assistance please contact Ellie Townsend to discuss options!

*** As it gets closer there will be info sessions for students and parents, there will also be two suggested flights to book so the majority of student leaders can fly together!
