BBLC 2023 RECAP

This year we returned to Indiana University for Best Buddies Leadership Conference! Representing Delaware we had 7 Student Leaders, 2 community leaders and 1 state ambassador. They spent the weekend in all-day sessions learning new leadership skills, best practices, and sharing ideas with other leaders from all across the world!

Recruitment Season is here!!

As you return to school, don’t waste any time before starting to recruit new members for your Best Buddies chapter! There are tons of great resources on Best Buddies University (BBU) such as recruitment materials, the Best Buddies Logo and more!

Student Leaders and Advisors!

Make sure to join us for August’s Leaders League, this is a quick Zoom call with other student leaders and advisors from our Expansion states to discuss ideas, ask questions and chat about upcoming events and best practices!

Reminder: ALL students and Advisors must submit a new application EACH school year to assure we have current information for all participants. But don’t worry, the membership takes less than 3 minutes to complete!

Best Buddies Champion of the Year is a competitive fundraising campaign that unites and recognizes leaders of inclusion in local communities nationwide.

Champion Candidates commit to raising funds and awareness for Best Buddies throughout their campaign. Our Champions advocate for the Best Buddies mission and will generate countless opportunities for friendships, jobs, and leadership development. At the Best Buddies Champion of the Year celebration, we honor the Champions’ collective impact and name the ultimate Champion of the Year!
