Welcome to the latest edition of the Buddy Beat! As the flowers bloom and the sun shines brighter, we're thrilled to share all the exciting happenings in the world of Best Buddies Delaware. From the upcoming Friendship Walk to the eagerly awaited Buddy Ball there's so much to look forward to! Read on to find out how you can join in the fun and make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) right here in Delaware.

Get ready for the highlight of our year—the Best Buddies DE Friendship Walk is just a month away! Join us on April 27th at Frawley Stadium from 10 am to 1 pm. We'll be walking on the field where the Blue Rocks play, dancing, celebrating our participants, and raising money for our Best Buddies chapters in Delaware. It's going to be an amazing day, and we can't wait to see you there!

Drumroll, please! 🥁 The moment you've all been waiting for is finally here—the return of Buddy Ball! Get ready to dance the night away on Friday, April 12th, at 7 pm at Thomas McKean High School. This epic event is open to all of our chapters, promising a night of non-stop fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Whether you're a dancing pro or just looking to have a blast, Buddy Ball is the place to be! Don't miss out on this fantastic celebration of friendship and inclusion. See you there, Best Buddies!

2024-2025 Chapter Advisors and Student Leaders: Registration is open! 
All 2024-2025 chapter presidents should be selected and registered by Monday, April 15! If your chapter has selected next year’s chapter president or if your current chapter president is returning next year, please direct your incoming student leader to www.bestbuddies.org/lead to register for next school year.

As a reminder, all 2024-2025 registrants must complete a new application for next year! Advisors (teachers, host site coordinators, etc), we ask that you also visit www.bestbuddies.org/lead ASAP to register for next year!
